A dark song, a music of desolation that we would rather reserve for classes of adults or adolescents. The tonal profile of all the phrases, verse and chorus, each time presents this unusual depressive journey from the major tonality to the relative minor. The melody ends with the word "piocher", stressed and repeated, dramatically separated for a long silence (two quarter rests).
